at בגלל שזה מאוד ספציפי מדבר על "מיקומים":at the traffic lights'at the door,at the window,at the next stop.at university,at school,at college'at the wedding,at the meeting,at a conference,at a concert
in ו at משתמש לבניינים:in a supermarket וגם at a supermarket
at משתמש לאיפה שהאירוע מתקיים:at a concert
on=בין in ל at (יש פירמידה כזאת):on 13 august 2222,on my birthday,on friday,
on the weekend (האנגלים אומרים at the weekend),onthe internet
on time=בדיוק בזמן
on tv,on the left hand side,on a menu,on a map,on a farm,on a list,on the second floor,on the north coast,on the way,on the street,on a bus,on a plane,on a cruise,on the phone
לגבי on נשתמש בזה שיש למשהו "מגע" עם משהו אחר

בעיקרון לגבי כל מה שנופל להגדרה של prepositions אין חוקים ברורים, צריך פשוט לשמוע, להפנים וללמוד (המון אמריקאים וגם אנגלים טועים בזה)

in the morning/afternoon/evening
מקומות:,in jail,,in hospital,in the pool,in the mountains,in a city center,in the river,in the store,in the sea
at=מקומות מאוד ספציפיים נקודתיים:at the airport,at home,at the bus stop,at reception,at the party,at the traffic circle,
כשאתה קובע במקומות מאוד ספציפיים אתה תשתמש ב at:i will meet you at modi's store at 19:30
at night,at chrismas
at the end=בסוף של משהו (קיץ, חורף, זמן מסוים, תהליך)
in the end=finally לבסוף
