in my opinion, you should ask the teachers and students to speak with you in your native language, or you could ask them to bring you textbooks written in your language instead of hebrew.

also, do you know just a little bit in hebrew? even a little bit is enough for a beginner

שלום - hello (it also means peace)
מה קורה? - ?what's up
בוקר טוב - good morning
מה השעה עכשיו? - ?what's up
אני לא מדברת עברית - i don't speak hebrew
קוראים לי - <my name is <insert your name
איך קוראים לך? - ?what's your name

and here's some slang/colloquial words and phrases you should know:
יאללה - hurry up, come on
יאללה יאללה - it's expression used to show disrespect for people you talk to
סבבה, אחלה - good
בסדר - alright
הכל בסדר - everything's alright
הכל בסדר? - ?is everything alright
חלאס, די - stop
חסר לך בורג - literally: you lack a screw (it's idiom used to express that you think that the person you're talking to is stupid)
